Now with the class it is important to show up to all the classes. Grammar review are given at the beginning of many classes, so it is important to write these sentences down so you are prepared for the grammar quiz. It is also important to keep a schedule of due dates because there are several projects in the class. I used my calender on my computer to help me out. Mrs. Rogers is a nice teacher though and will always be willing to help so don't wait for the last second, but go get advice from her. By the way if you guys do the second-life class i will be very jealous. All in all it is a great class where you will learn a lot about the business world.

Success Pointers
I will first approach the topic of how to handle a client-based project. It requires a whole lot of team work and communication. Our group had to divide up the main work for the project work, and as other side projects came such as email, taking minutes, ect... we had to split up. Everyone needs to have everyone else's phone number and email address so that there is communication when needed, and team meeting are easier to set up. It is also very important to not waste the class time that is given to you. That is where we got a lot of work done because we were all together then. It is also important to make sure that no one is doing most of the work, but that the work had been divided evenly. It is also important to not get offended when the client gives bad feedback to the project that you have been working on. Just do the changes because you will have to deal with hard clients in the real world also. It is also important that everyone can express their own ideas, and that they are not ignored. Everyone has something important to bring to the group.

Team Warrior Teamwork
I have learned a lot about teamwork through working with Team Warrior. Usually I dread teamwork because the all the work gets put on me. Team Warrior worked well together for the part.
We distributed the work very well so no one person was working too much. Each person played a huge role and the assignment could not have been done or would have been a lot harder even by missing one person. I was late for one meeting because I got pulled over for speeding. I felt really bad for being late, but my group understood. Our communication was great also. Nick did a very good job at emailing every one the time and place we would meet. Sometimes people would forget about the meetings so maybe we could call people to remind our group about meetings also.
Our distribution and efficiency has been the strengths of our team. We get our work done quickly and do it with quality. In phase two I would like our group to start our meetings faster. We spend a good bit of time talking before we start the meeting. I would not mind cutting back on some of this talking time.

Hiking
I am a man who loves the outdoors. I love seeing how God's creation. I truly saw creation outpouring God's beauty on Saturday. My room mates and I went hiking and then went to the highest point i have ever been in South Carolina to watch the sunset. We had a while till the sunset, so we talked, took naps, and ate. Other people showed up also to gaze upon the beauty. There was a beautiful lake and mountains surrounding this lake. I got a panoramic picture that it
hope turns out.
It is times like those that make you seem so insignificant. We each to have our own cares and our own selfish desires when there are so many people in need. It makes me grateful that i believe in great God who can work through me if I offer myself to him to work for those who are in need. it is amazing what God can reveal through a simple day outside.
Oh side not Tennessee beat South Carolina and is first in the SEC East and controls it's own destiny of making it to the SEC Championship.

My Presentation
I thought my presentation went well for it being my first presentation. I was able to answer all of the questions pretty well. I was somewhat nervous for it being my first interview. It was good preparation for the rest of my interviews I will have to go through. I thought I made good eye contact, and that shows confidence. i also tried to stand up straight, so i would not look nervous.
I also have some things I can work on. I was late to the interview, which is a definite no no. was able to still have an interviw, but I was sweating from all the running I had to do to get to the interview as fast as possible. I also was a little unsure as to how long my answes should be. I could answer all the questoins, but I did not know how long to keep on talking or not.
All in all it was a great experience though. I hope I am able to take more mock interviews. It will really help me do well for my dental interview.

Presentatation Afterthoughts
Many of the presentations were very good, but there were certain ones that stook out to me. I really enjoyed Mikes. I am into rock climbing and enjoyed learning more about it. He seemed to have a lot of facts in his presentation that I did not know about. I also liked his idea of handing suckers with his questions because it got the crowd involved. I even got one.
I also liked Adaline's presentation. I liked her idea of giving us fortune cookies to start the presentation, It got me interested into what she was going to talk about. She told a very emotional story about kids who were being stolen from their families and were being used as prostitutes. I know that this happens in Vietnam and sad to see that it happens in other country's also. I hope that this comes to a stop. It just seems so hopeless though. People need to intervene.

Canoe Trip
Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of canoeing with my dad, older brother, and younger brother. I had a big decision to make though. I had a test on monday morning that I had not yet studied for. I had to choose between spending time with my family, a thing I do not get to do much, or study for a test. In the end I decided that family time was more important than a test was. My dad had been planning this trip for a while, and I knew he was looking forward to all of us being there.
The trip was a lot of fun we traveled 25 miles down the French Broad River and even got to stop some where and camp. My brother made an awesome meal, but I guess everything taste good when you are camping. He made fajitas. We finished our last part of the trip by going down a 5 foot falls and hitting a three series rapids with are canoe tipping a few times. Luckily, we had had waster proof bags. In retrospec I think I made the right choice, even though I did not make the grade I was hopeing for on my test. The trip was well worth it.

Interesting Resume Concepts
I read over two articles. One was about getting creative with your resumes and the other was about video resumes. These are two concept that I have never heard of. I have only heard of the conventional resume format, and that you do not want to deviate from it. All th books teach us students to do it the conservative way.
The resume about using different colored ink and making it creative blew me away. It worked for one person though. I guess a perosn would have to get bored looking at those resumes all day, but I also think they would not take the person for serious. Maybe for certain situations it would work. If you were looking for a creative person you may give it more of a look, but you would want to look at the credentials and weigh them more. Hiring someone just because of the way there resume looks would be a serious mistake.
The second article I read talke about video resumes. This worked for a girl that kept on getting rejected. Once again I think this could work for certain situations. If you were applying for a movie editing job it may be a way to show off your skills. I personally like edit film, and think this is a cool idea. The job assessor could just lean back and watch the resume, and would give him a much needed break. You would have to do the video right though. There was a second person who made a resume with him playing tennis and working out. That is just rediculous. If you a video with your resume in it and got creative, than that would be cool.
